Tammy Nucci is a speaker, author, early learning and leadership expert, and neuroscience coach. With over 30 years of experience, her work focuses on how the brain, nervous system, and lived experiences shape the way we think, respond, and lead.
As the creator of The Reframe MethodTM, Tammy helps individuals and organizations transform their perspectives through a powerful process: Recognize.Reframe. Reconnect. Rewrite the story. Her work is rooted in the core principles of Agency, Belonging, and Connection, emphasizing that learning and leadership are biological—not just cognitive.
Blending neuroscience with storytelling, Tammy creates experiences that shift beliefs and inspire lasting change. Her global studies across New Zealand, Italy, Sweden, and Denmark inform her approach, bridging childhood development and adult leadership.
Tammy’s work challenges how we see behavior, learning, and leadership— because when we change the lens, we change the trajectory.
Above all, she values her roles as a mother and wife, where her work comes to life in the most meaningful way.
I started working in early learning straight out of high school and later returned to school to complete my ECE. I quickly became fascinated by child development — all of it. I wanted to understand not only what children were doing, but why: how relationships, experiences, environments, and the people around them shape who they are becoming.
Over time, I realized my curiosity was never only about children. It was about people. The need for safety, belonging, connection, agency, and to feel truly seen and understood doesn’t disappear as we grow older. These are human needs that stay with us throughout our lives.
I believe early childhood education is some of the most crucial work there is. It’s hard work — and it should be, because it’s far too important not to be. Children are with us for such a short time, yet what happens during that time can travel with them for a lifetime. Early learning may be where the work begins, but its impact lasts a lifetime. This is lifespan work.
