Family Support Specialist | Leadership & Relationship Mentor

Meet Nathalie James

(RECE)

With over a decade of experience in early childhood education, Nathalie has worn many hats. She has grown from educator to director, across both nonprofit and for-profit programs.

She’s led teams of 30+, supported families and children through the early years, and now oversees six (6) family support locations in Mississauga South.

At The ECC, Nathalie brings her calm leadership and deep care to every workshop and conversation, helping educators strengthen relationships, navigate challenges and conflict resolution, and rediscover the joy in what they do.

From her earliest memories, Nathalie felt called to the world of early learning. Her “why” is rooted in the belief that every child and parent deserves support, empathy, and connection, especially during the most sensitive seasons of early development.

"I've had the opportunity to support new moms in the most sensitive and mentally draining seasons of their life ensuring they have all resources they need and feel a sense of community as they navigate parenthood."

Today, she works alongside families and educators, reminding them that they already have what it takes, they just need the right tools, and someone who believes in them.
