Every year, we have the honour of recognizing two outstanding leaders in the field:
- ECE of the Year
- ECE Supervisor of the Year
These awards were created to shine a light on the passion, leadership, dedication, and everyday impact that early childhood professionals bring into classrooms, programs, centres, and communities across the field.

This is your opportunity to nominate someone you believe should be named:
- ECC ECE of the Year 2026
- ECC ECE Supervisor of the Year 2026
The process is simple:
- Fill out the nomination form
- Share the name of the person you are nominating
- Tell us a little bit about them and why they deserve this recognition
- Share how they have made a positive impact in the field of early childhood education
We want to hear the stories, the impact, and the reasons why these individuals stand out within the ECE community.

Nomination Guidelines
To qualify for the ECC ECE of the Year Award, the nominee must:
- Be currently practicing in the field of Early Childhood Education
- Be actively working as an ECE
- Demonstrate passion and dedication within the field
- Be making a positive impact on children, families, colleagues, or the community
To qualify for the ECC ECE Supervisor of the Year Award, the nominee must:
- Be currently working as a Supervisor, Director, or leadership role within the early childhood space
- Demonstrate strong leadership and support within their organization
- Be making a positive impact within the ECE community
- Inspire and uplift educators, children, families, and teams
