Event Details

Caring for young children in a home-based setting is deeply meaningful work; but it can also feel isolating, overwhelming, and nonstop.

In this interactive ECC Learning Lounge session, we create space to name the realities of burnout in family childcare and talk about it honestly, without judgment.

Together, we’ll explore how burnout shows up in this unique setting, from emotional exhaustion to blurred boundaries between home and work. Participants will reflect on their own experiences, uncover both personal and systemic contributors to stress, and begin to shift from survival mode to sustainable practice.

This session centers practical, real-life strategies that actually fit into your day; like setting clear boundaries with families, simplifying routines, and creating small, restorative moments that support your well-being. Most importantly, we’ll guide you back to your purpose, helping you reconnect with your “why” and the impact of the work you do every single day.
